We’re so excited to introduce you to Community House, a wedding venue in Dana Point, California. Community House is owned by the Dana Point Women’s Club, and is a vintage one story building built in 1951. The proceeds of all venue rentals go towards building preservation and maintenance, and philanthropic endeavors. Recently remodeled, Community House is opening its doors to weddings and other events!

Like many of the wedding venues in Dana Point, our proximity to the beach is part of our charm. Community House is located in the heart of the Lantern District, and only 5 minutes to the beach. A fun way to get from our venue to the beach is by using a MOKE rental vehicle. Moke Rental Dana Point offers hourly and full day rentals, so you can be sure to make the most of your beach wedding.

This event was designed and styled by Ryann, of Ryann Kristena Events. Ryann is a local wedding planner who specializes in dark, alternative events. This black and white theme is the perfect blend of dark and classic. One thing that Ryann believes really sets the tone of an event, is the stationery. “Your invitation suite is the first part of your wedding that your friends and family will see, and I think it should match the theme and overall tone of your wedding.” Beach City Creative knocked it out of the park with the bow RSVP cards and bringing the bow motif to the menu cards to match.

At Community House, Dana Point, couples are welcome to bring in their own vendors. We also provide a list of vendors who are familiar with our venue, to help make the vendor search easier. You may wish to hire a wedding coordinator for your special day, but this is not required. Having a wedding planner by your side on your wedding day will make the day run smoothly and help you enjoy your day even more.

When booking Community House for your wedding, you can choose an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Both options look beautiful.

Included with your venue rental are the black chiavari chairs you see in the photos on this page, and an assortment of long tables and round tables.
